The Mahoning County Green Team came to visit the school to promote recycling. As an example, collecting and bringing to school aluminum beverage cans helps the school earn funds for school projects. Also important is recycling aluminum helps save the rain forests where the aluminum’s main ingredient, bauxite, is mined. Each can is worth more than a penny to the school when collected for the school’s CASH FOR CANS program. All those pennies add up to serious cash when everyone helps collect and bring in cans from home. Our can collection program runs through April, 2018. Let’s everyone help support this no-cost fundraiser! Bring your bagged cans to school and leave in the back parking lot next to the garage by Mrs. Jablonski’s office.
