During the months of October and November 2017, the school students, faculty, staff and friends will be collecting non-perishable food items for the area’s Second Harvest Food Bank. There is a collection bin in the front of Mrs. Babik’s office in which you can place your items. Thank you for your generosity!
Students at St. Joseph the Provider held a food drive this October for Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. They collected 216 lbs. of non-perishables as well as cash. The children learned such statistics as $1.00 = 5 meals and 1 in 6 people in the Mahoning Valley faces hunger. Ultimately, the students realized that their hard work and dedication to this project helped to feed people in the Youngstown area.
This year there will be two sessions of Open House. All families are requested to attend one of the sessions:
August 15: 11 am
August 16: 6:00 pm
The first day of school is on Tuesday, August 22!
Fr. Mike celebrated the Mass for shut-ins for this Sunday’s feast of the Most Holy Trinity (June 11, 2017). Students from the choirs at the school, as well as Sr. Bernadine, Mrs. Orlando and organist, Mrs. Bush, added their voices in prayerful song and prayer. Great job to all!
School resumes Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
